The Global Clean Water Initiative

The Global Clean Water Initiative is a nonprofit organization based in California with satellite offices in Mexico, Vietnam, and Nigeria. They requested a flyer for one of these offices to help raise awareness and encourage volunteers in the community. The Mexico satellite office was chosen for this flyer. The color palette for this flyer is based on the colors of Mexico’s flag, with pops of yellow and blue that reflect the vibrant use of color in their culture. The water is exaggerated with the color blue to enhance its fresh and clean feel. Hierarchy, spacing and contrast are used throughout the design to ensure readability and to create a sense of depth.
